Cleaning Procedures

We will be outlining our cleaning procedures for you to view, and if you have any questions, comments, or concerns. Please feel free to email us at infonl@timothyhill.org and we will put you in touch with the appropriate staff member. 

SUITES

All hand surfaces will be cleaned with Clorox wipes or disinfectant spray including:

  • Bed frames 

  • Shelves

  • Bunk ladders

  • Door knobs

  • Broom handles

  • Tables and chairs

  • Lighting 

  • Fire places

  • Doors

  • Windows

  • Dressers

  • Cabinets

  • Floors will be mopped with a disinfecting floor cleaner (when applicable)

  • Mattresses (will be throughly wiped down when applicable - cabins only)

Lodge Surfaces

We will keep communal areas in the lodge as clean as possible with regular sanitizing as well as ask you to wash hands and use hand sanitizer. The lodge will get a regular clean, but please keep in mind social distancing when meeting in or around the lodge. The following surfaces will get disinfected daily. We will be pulling paper games. Hard games such as pool, foosball, ping pong, and carpet ball will be available.

Bathrooms

All communal bathrooms are to be cleaned on a regular daily basis. All cabin bathrooms will be cleaned between occupants. As well as other cabin surfaces.

  • Sinks

  • Faucets

  • Stall handles doors

  • Paper towel descenders

  • Toilet paper dispensers

  • Mirrors

  • Trash cans

  • Countertops

  • Soap dispensers 

  • Door handles

  • Floors will get mopped with a disinfecting floor cleaner

Kitchen

The Kitchen will be cleaning all of their surfaces and carts thoroughly, they will be wiping all surfaces and disinfecting appropriate kitchen gear and appliances.

Meal times

Mealtimes will have a detailed cleaning procedure that involves sanitizing all hand surfaces and food contact services in the Lodge. Everyone will be required to wash their hands before and after the meal, and the meals will be served family style to limit spread of germs.
